Works great with my 500 GB and 640 GB hard drives.But didn't work with my Samsung 840 SSD 250 GB drive.

This product worked and looked great for the first couple of days, until the usb socket connection to the circuitboard became wiggly and the harddrive would only operate if I held the the wire downwards.

Had an extra 1TB hard drive laying around and I needed something slim to backup videos and photos while on travel. The case is very slim and fits perfectly in one of the compartments in my camera bag. The provided cable does the job, however I do not like the multiple USB inputs and don't need the extra power but I am sure other do. I do believe this is USB 3.0 but I have no 3.0 devices to test with. This does preform great at USB 2.0 speeds.Cheap and effective, would probably but another if I had extra drives laying around.
