This KdLinks USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Docking Station is a quick and easy solution for backing up hard drives and moving large amounts of data between PCs. We run a small business that specializes in producing instructional videos and had previously made periodic backups to standalone external hard drives since losing a master video would be catastrophic to us. This is a great little device. It can be used for data storage, for large file transfer, etc. Actually, I am going to use it for my server backup. This way, all I need is several pieces of SATA drives. That will save huge on the cost for external hard drive. For the same amount of money, I could get many smaller "internal" drives. This way I don't have to worry about hard disc failure, because I always have multiple copies on hand.This thing connects through 3.0 USB, it is fast!!!!!!

The Kdlinks USB 3.0/2.0 enclosure is rock solid. It works with every drive I put in it. It also works with Acronis True Image boot images, which makes cloning hard drives easy. I like the open bay for swapping out various drives. There is no need to hassle with screws, just plop in a drive and you're on your way!
