The drive works fine and is colorful but the USB plug is a bit touchy, you have to get it in the slot just right or it will not mount . Maybe we just got a bad one but once the drive is recognized you cant touch it or it will disconnect because the cable is loose.

This 1TB Pink drive was the color that I wanted to stand out among the other such drives that I own. The USB3 speed is good.None of the media players, TV, DVD players, etc will power this drive on without at least a booster cable from another USB slot. I actually use the USB power boost cable to power the drive from an external supply when using with my media player devices. My PC and laptop have enough power to get it spinning with just one USB connection.The reason the photo in the ad is mostly from the top is so that you don't see that the drive is almost as thick as a paperback. The Adata drive is nearly as thick as TWO Toshiba USB 2.0 drives that I have. See photos.Unfortunate for me, I bought two of these when they were on-sale several months ago.

Usually the colors are little off from the original picture but it arrived as is.Didn't purchase to carry around, just for backup at home, so pretty sure it will last as long as it will.
