Product Description
The Oyen Digital MiniPro USB 3.0 portable hard drive is one of the fastest members in the MiniPro product line, delivering speeds up to 5 times faster than USB 2.0. The solid black enclosure features a unique aluminum body engineered to effectively dissipate heat and allow for maximum protection. The drive is compatible with PCs and MACs and is powered using the included USB cable, eliminating the need for a power adapter. A separate DC input is available for those who prefer to power from an AC adapter.
The included software provides comprehensive real-time backup as well as continuous data protection and scheduled backups. Also included is 10GB of lifetime cloud storage with SpiderOak, which allows you to access your files from any smartphone, tablet or computer!

I bought this drive along with a 1 TB Western Digital. This one's a little thinner but considerably longer. I was hoping it would be smaller overall, but I can't really say that's the case.Still, it's a nice metal case, the drive has been silent and reliable, and the USB 3 interface is solid and fast. The OS (Windows 7 64) recognized it without any special software, and I haven't had any problems with operation. I feel a little better about carrying it around due to the metal case.It does seem to run a little warm around the heat sink, but I suppose that's what it's for, and it hasn't actually gotten hot, just warm.

I have 6 of them, they work like a charm.I hope they don't "improve" the box, usually the result would be a negative one.:)
