But they all seem to have too much wiggle room. I don't understand why they can't have a snug fit. Too many times these types of drive disconnect if you brush against the connecting cord.But I've tried both brands and G-Drive is more reliable overall.

As a professional photographer/film maker, I've owned many different manufacturers' hard drives in the past; though I've never had a complete failure of a drive yet, G-Tech is my go-to for professional use. Period. With proven reliability, sturdy construction, and great customer service, I can't say enough about these drives! Also, when comparing feature/benefits with comparable models, for the same price, these drives can't be beat! Stop playing around (and waiting around) with your USB 2 connections, and step up to FW800 or Thunderbolt G-Techs. You'll be happy that you did. ;-)

Extremely well made, very fast transfer times and holds a ton of data. I think these are better than the LaCie portable drives. The G-drive technology is so fast and comes with a wide variety of patch cords and plugs so the drive is compatible with almost everything. HIGHLY recommend.
