Protronix EZ-3 Series Hard Drive Enclosure allows you to turn any 2.5" SATA hard drive into a super fast USB 3.0 external hard drive. External hard drives are great for backing up information, moving files, and adding extra storage without opening your computer. They are ideal for storing music, movies, pictures, and all of your media. Equipped with the latest USB 3.0 technology, this enclosure can transfer data at up to 5Gbps when connected to a USB 3.0 bus. It also has legacy support for USB 2.0, with transfer rates of 480Mbps. The innovative design of this enclosure makes assembly a breeze with no tools or screws required. Latching mechanism secures the enclosure shut when the sides are pressed together and releases with the push of a button. The included USB 3.0 cable with micro-USB molded connector and thick copper wiring ensure optimal performance is achieved with this enclosure.

The case itself feels sturdy, but the USB 3.0 plug sits in the hole a little loosely. It also doesn't have any rubber feet on either side so it'll move around a lot on any kind of surface.Otherwise, transfer speeds seem decent as I was hitting 130MB/s going from SSD to SSD.I did buy it when it was significantly cheaper than it is going for now, so I'd check out some of the competition if it's going for $20.

works fine... i thought i would have to screw the hard drive to it but i didnt have to cuz it has no screws... and when i was connecting my hdd it felt kinda fragile... but it worked just fine
