Works great! I only needed to back up about 60-70GB of my 120GB PS3 HDD. My PS3 recognized the HD--I didn't have to install any software at all. I just plugged it up. After 2 hrs, the backup was complete.So, now if my PS3 HDD somehow fails or stops working and all my saved data gets destroyed (this can happen) I have all my data on this Cirago drive which I can install on a new PS3 system, or a replacement PS3 HDD. I just have to remember to erase and re-backup my HDD every week to make sure I have saved all recent work on my PS3 games.I'd suggest doing this if you're a heavy gamer like myself. Anything could happen, ya know.Super small too HD too! Comes with a nice little sleeve, too. Very happy. Thanks!

I got this to save large files to while upgrading from a Dell. Music (Not much), documents (Just a few) and applications (Drivers, Logitech software, Avast, Firefox etc) all fit. Old XP machine and new Win 7 both read from and write to it fairly quickly for a USB device. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to transfer or even store around 80 GB.
