Product Description
This hard drive enclosure for 2.5" SATA-interface drives makes your files ultra-portable: fits in your pocket and can be accessed by any computer's USB ports. Supports drives up to 500 GB. The included cable has two USB plugs (Type A, the regular kind) for connecting to the computer, and one mini-USB plug for the hard drive. The cable uses two plugs for input/output & power from the PC, so you don't have to carry an extra power adapter!
The indicator light shows you when the drive is being accessed.

To determine if your hard drive is an IDE drive or a SATA drive, please look for the connectors. An IDE connector is longer, and has two rows of pins that stick out.
A SATA connector is smaller and has two plastic tabs with flat metal contacts.

this thing is very cheap. look cheep, only a very simple chip side, look like the cost is less than one dollardo not support my 7200 rpm , but it can support my another 5400 rpm disk.

Needed it to access a 160GB drive. Clean as a whistle. Case is kind of flimsy but I was able to plug it in and access the data.

the led indicator light is very bright but everything functions as it should my drive feels like it doesn't close all the way and its a 9.5mm drive so be warned. it does feel cheap. only needed to use one usb and it works just fine at normal speeds
