The Oyen Digital U32 ShadowTM is the thinnest USB 3.0 portable hard drive on the market. With an ultra-compact size, it fits easily into your pocket for maximum portability. The stylish design features a solid aluminum body engineered to effectively dissipate heat and provide durable portability. The U32 provides speeds of over 140 MB/s when connected to a USB 3.0 port - up to 5 times faster than USB 2.0. The drive is also compatible with USB 2.0 connections.
Powered by the included USB 3.0 cable, the U32 Shadow requires no external AC adapter or drivers - making it a simple portable storage solution. First the drive isn't as small as shown in the picture. Its around the same size as a regular portable external hard drive. This external is poorly built with just a 1TB 2.5in Western Digital Scorpio blue HDD and metal external enclosure. When in use the disk inside spins very fast and it starts to overheat badly. Also the cable is not that long(around 1 foot). After a week in use the hard drive made a scratchy noise and that was the end of it. The hard drive was no longer is recognized by any computer and all my data is lost. Very unhappy with the results.

I was slightly skeptical of this drive due to it having few reviews, but assumed it would perform comparable to the 500GB, which gets excellent feedback.I wouldn't consider myself a technophile, but this is one sexy piece of technology. It is comparable in size to an iPhone 4 and holds 1TB of data.So far, I haven't experienced high temps, and it is fast enough to suite my needs. The carrying case provided isn't very impressive, but for the price and performance, I have no complaints.
