Works perfectly

Works Perfectly as advertised. I will probably be buying several more for imaging computers in a k-12 environment. Just wish the price of SSD would go down.

Works on Thunderbolt Only

This drive will not stay mounted via USB 3.0. When it does mount (took me 5 tries to connect right out of the box) it will randomly drop off after sitting idle for a few minutes. Every time I do a sustained write to the drive, it unmounts within 30s-2min. I couldn't even set it up via USB 3.0 because it wouldn't re-mount the drive after ejecting it for formatting. I finally had to connect it via Thunderbolt to get it partitioned correctly. Bottom line: drive works as advertised with Thunderbolt, but forget about USB. Might as well not even have the port.
