Some of the parts have a "cheap" feel, instructions were written in broken english, not that you need them, but it probably wasn't made in the USA. But for the value.... This is CHEAP for a USB 3.0 enclosure. The hard drive that I put in here fit in very nicely and doesn't seem to have any play. The back end fit into the plastic end cap and so both ends are supported and I don't think touching the aluminum outer case. The enclosure once assembled looks very nice. The black aluminum looks good.A tiny screwdriver is included to install screws in the one end of the case, but I used my own screwdriver. They are not threaded screws and it feels very easy to strip out or break the plastic. I may have, I'm not sure. In any case, The hard drive and end cap is still in there solidly. The included cable is a couple feet long and is USB male to male Type A connector (the standard one you have on your computer)It also includes a little fake leather "case" kind of a slip on cover. Not much and quite cheap, but I suppose it provides some small amount of protection.Now, is this a "five-star" item? No. But I gave it 5 stars because You get exactly what you pay for: A cheap enclosure that works and works quite well in normal use. If you plan to throw your hard drive, step on it, or drive a car over it, you may want a different enclosure. But if you're just going to set it on a table, or carry it in a bag to work or school and back, plug it into your computer, and store files on it, you should be fine.I put a 750GB, I think Toshiba drive in it, and it works like a charm. I don't have USB 3.0 on my laptop so I have to assume it works.

This HDD case is actually not bad at all for the price. Not fancy looking or anything, but works fine so far. I populated a 2.5 inch Drive with 500GB from WD. I can't tell how fast the data transfer but it seems to transfer my 2GB folder pretty fast. Can't complain for the price i got.
