I already have two CaseLogic Compact Portable Hard Drive Cases, and I like them very much. I ordered the Drive Logic (the case tag says "OYEN") case because it was a little less expensive and that I wanted to compare the two brands.The OYEN case is slightly larger than the CaseLogic, but not by much. On the outside, there is a pocket to store small and flat items on the OYEN, while the CaseLogic does not have any.The outer shell of both cases offer good protection against bumps and scrapes, but the OYEN case feels more sturdy (less deformation when you squeeze the two halves together) than the CaseLogic.Inside the OYEN case, on the side where the hard drive is placed, the OYEN has what feels like MEMORY FOAM material that can absorb shocks and vibrations, much more so than a bare case can, as in the case of the CaseLogic.Both cases are well-made. A minor gripe about the OYEN is its rather small zipper-pull; the CaseLogic is much easier to grasp.If I accidentally drop this case from the waist level, with a hard drive in it, I would deem the OYEN case more able to protect the hard drive, because of its superior outer shell, as well as its memory foam padding inside.If I need to buy another hard drive case, I would definitely choose the OYEN over the CaseLogic. It's a better value, and it is better.

Very nice case that is well built and looks good. It is a little larger (vertical height) than what you would need for a 2.5" drive. On the other hand the additional 1" space allows for more storage if needed. My WD Elements hard drive fits perfectly under the strap. The main thing is that the case is built solid and will protect your portable hard drive.

These are well-made. I bought three when ordering a Transcend portable HD, but it is the right size for two of my Lacie HDs as well as another older drive that I rarely use. The case is fairly rigid and the drives and cables have to be quite flat in order to zip the pouch closed. I like the construction and feel this is a good way to store drives that are seldom used as well as to carry a drive in soft-sided luggage or a backpack.
